Abstract
Turbomachinery is widely used in industrial production. As one of the most critical components, the monitoring of the blade is an important means to ensure the safe operation of the rotating machinery, and the monitoring of shrouded blades has some difficulties because of its structure. In order to realize blade tip timing (BTT) measurement of shrouded blades and assess the algorithms, a numerical simulator for measuring axial clearance voltage of BTT probes is developed in this paper. Firstly, the influences of three kinds of steady-state movements of the blades on the BTT axial measurement are analyzed. Secondly, a mathematical model of blade vibration is established based on the typical dynamical vibration of the synchronous and asynchronous vibration. Thirdly, the blade mode shapes are obtained based on the finite element model to realize the construction of the BTT simulator. Finally, the simulator is constructed based on real steam turbine blades, which is validated using the traditional vibration parameter identification method to identify the parameters. This study provides a new BTT axial measurement and data generation method.
